Our Mission

Relief Wines is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which aims to meet the needs of others through the magic of wine. We partner with organizations to release thoughtfully-created wines, full of individuality and quality you can taste. And, we partner with you to join our love for wine and community to make a difference.

Together, we raise awareness and support compassionate causes that improve our communities. Whenever you enjoy a wine from Relief Wines, the proceeds go to the cause of the special Relief Wine you’ve ordered.

Our Causes

Wines with Purpose – For more than 20 years, Napa Valley winemakers Ryan and Crystal Waugh have pursued their passion to create wines with delicious individuality that reflect their surroundings – best served surrounded by friends and family.

Our three causes are the Napa Valley and California rebuilding effort following the 2017 fires and ensuing damage, Camp Esperanza, and Transitional Youth. It is our honor to share these wonderful organizations with you and the world through our wines.

California Fires Recovery

Firestorm is the Waughs’ response to the 2017 fires in Napa Valley and throughout California. Ryan and Crystal Waugh fought the fire at their own winery and a neighboring one. Today, while the fires may be out, California is still rebuilding vineyards, buildings, and homes. Firestorm Wine proceeds benefit Napa and Sonoma’s rebuilding efforts and disaster preparedness education.

Children Fighting Cancer

Camp Esperanza gives children with cancer a week of friendship and fun while building confidence and inspiring hope. These precious kids experience the joy of summer camp, playing together, exploring, and discovering new friends. When you order Esperanza, you’re helping to cover 100% of the costs for kids to enjoy a week at Camp Esperanza.

At-Risk Homeless Youth

Transitional Youth programs support at-risk youth in Oregon and Washington, feeding homeless teenagers and offering long-term housing for teens as well as young adult moms and their children. Order Breaking Cycles wine and you’ll be supporting Transitional Youth’s everyday operations and their ability to serve homeless youth.
